How a Pricing Intelligence Company Built Enterprise Pipeline with LinkedIn ABM
Challenge
This company sells electronic-component pricing and supply-risk intelligence (a pricing intelligence platform, and later an AI negotiation agent) to procurement leaders at large manufacturers. Its buyers are a narrow, senior and hard-to-reach group.
A few of the challenges they faced included:
- No clean job title to target. LinkedIn has no title for “electronic components procurement,” so title targeting reached procurement people who don’t buy electronics.
- Enterprise accounts are hard to reach. Most impressions went to companies with 10K+ employees, where leads are hard to win and slow to convert.
- Sales needed quality, not volume. The client’s team graded every lead, and early leads included marketing agencies, logistics roles and job seekers.
Strategic Approach
Speedwork ran a full-funnel LinkedIn program in three stages. Top of funnel was thought leadership and product content. Middle of funnel was gated lead magnets. Bottom of funnel was demo offers. Every optimization was driven by lead-quality feedback from the client’s sales team.
Results
The company launched LinkedIn Ads with Speedwork on 15 July 2025. Fifteen months later, the program has produced 501 leads from 363 companies, including 135 demo requests. Over the same period, the audience narrowed from broad procurement titles to the client’s ABM list, and the latest quarter’s leads graded 95% ICP-fit.
The client’s ads now deliver twice the impressions and three times the site traffic of the first six months, while lead volume held steady and lead quality rose.
ICP fit rose from 57% in 2025 to 95% in mid-2026, after demo offers moved to the ABM list. Demo requests rose 50% quarter over quarter.
Demo requests came from named target accounts, including a leading consumer-electronics maker, a leading AI chip designer, a global e-commerce and devices company, a European industrial-technology conglomerate, a US industrial conglomerate, a global energy-management company, a major US defense contractor and a global agricultural-machinery maker.
LinkedIn is now a steady source of sales pipeline, with 47 LinkedIn-sourced sales opportunities since July 2025, about three a month.
“Marketing is in such a time of change. Having a partner like Speedwork that is responsive, innovative and thoughtful, helping to change things rapidly so that we are constantly testing, running a gap analysis, and iterating on what’s working and moving away from what’s not… I really value their partnership.”

Key Learnings
- Aim demo offers at the ABM list, then retarget it. Moving demo offers to named target accounts brought requests from major enterprise targets, and ABM retargeting became the program’s most efficient demo campaign.
- A grading loop fixes targeting faster than guesswork. Targeting exclusions came straight from the sales team’s lead feedback.
- Short, direct offers win in the inbox. The shortest conversation-ad copy consistently produced the most demo requests.
- Lead magnets fatigue in about four months. Even a strong report wears out. A steady supply of new reports and whitepapers lifted mid-funnel lead flow each time a new one launched.
- Thought-leader posts outperform company ads at the top of the funnel. Boosted posts from a company executive earned several times the click-through rate of standard company ads. Contrarian, educational posts did best.
- Webinars need a month of runway. The first successful webinar combined four weeks of promotion, personal conversation-ad invites and a video post from a client team member.
