THE ROLE:

As a LinkedIn Social Media Copywriter, you’ll work with clients to understand their brand, voice, message, and offer to create social media posts with compelling copy.

KEY OBJECTIVES:
  • Understand clients business, personality, target audience, and content topics.
  • Create effective social posts with succinct copy that engages readers.
  • Minimize social post creation time and time to launch using best practices, templates, and creative skills, so that ROI is realized quickly.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, SKILLS:
  • Social copy: Experienced in crafting posts for LinkedIn and know how to succinctly get to the point. Able to write in the client’s voice as a product expert, in a way that is understandable by people who have no knowledge of the company.
  • LinkedIn social strategy: Strategize with team on upcoming content based on LinkedIn updates and past performance. Stay familiar with LinkedIn’s social content, algorithm, and hashtags.
  • Ability to work in a team and interact with clients as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Active LinkedIn user
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Must have a strong grasp of social media marketing fundamentals
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Creative writing, communications, marketing or media-related degree
  • B2B experience required, agency/tech experience preferred
  • Availability for 10-20 hours per week
Pay Rate: $25-35/hour
Candidate location: US or Canada
